Advergames: Los juegos como nuevos soportes publicitarios.

Los advergames o juegos publicitarios son una nueva herramienta de comunicación y sirven para promocionar un producto o marca, una empresa o una idea.
Son juegos adaptados a un sector de negocio determinado con el logotipo de una empresa o marca, que permiten una exposición continua del usuario ante la marca publicitada. Éstos se transmiten de forma viral a través de dispositivos móviles, internet, redes sociales y email, logrando una gran difusión a un coste reducido.
También se pueden utilizar como regalos personales para felicitar cumpleaños o determinadas fechas como Navidad o aniversarios, generando así una relación más estrecha entre la empresa y el cliente.
Los advergames no sólo quieren vender, también quieren entretener, regalando algo sin pedir nada a cambio. No sólo es una excelente forma de anunciar productos o marcas, sino también de generar simpatía y fidelidad hacia la marca, creando así un vínculo con el consumidor.
Son los consumidores los que se acercan a la publicidad buscando el anuncio porque es divertido, terminando por sentir simpatía hacia la marca que les proporcionó el entretenimiento.
Todos los detalles del juego son importantes, como los gráficos y colores (acordes a la marca publicitada), el sonido y hasta el propio objetivo del juego. La definición de los objetivos del juego va ligada a la marca. Al igual que elaboramos un story board a la hora de diseñar un anuncio convencional, también se elabora para el diseño de un advergame. Así, por ejemplo, para publicitar una autoescuela, podríamos diseñar un juego cuyo objetivo sea aparcar coches o conducir por un circuito. El mensaje publicitario está claro: “La autoescuela “x” te enseña a conducir y aparcar” (ya que el objetivo final del juego es completar el circuito y aparcar todos los vehículos). Se está transmitiendo el mensaje claramente al consumidor pero de forma no intrusiva, lo que hace que esté más predispuesto a comprar finalmente nuestra marca.
El advergaming combina el arte publicitario con una reducida inversión. Los canales de distribución son diversos. La empresa puede distribuir su juego/anuncio de forma gratuita a través de Internet (en su propia web o en páginas que recopilan juegos online), a través de email directamente a sus clientes, en las diferentes tiendas de aplicaciones (App Store, Google Play, Blackberry App World, Windows Phone Marketplace, etc.), a través de teléfonos móviles, en redes sociales, etc.
El elevado tiempo de contacto entre marca y cliente que se consigue con esta herramienta es muy difícil de lograr con otros medios publicitarios. Un anuncio convencional para televisión dura entre 20 y 30 segundos. En ese tiempo tenemos que convencer al espectador de las ventajas de nuestro producto sobre el de la competencia. Probablemente el consumidor estará atento la primera vez que vea el anuncio, y cuantas más veces lo vea menos atención le prestará (la repetición de los anuncios puede llegar a cansar al espectador). Los advergames no son intrusivos, si el juego es adictivo, el consumidor puede estar en contacto con nuestra marca horas e incluso días. Y de forma voluntaria, no porque se lo imponga un corte publicitario. Esto es lo que convierte a los advergames en una herramienta eficaz e indispensable para las empresas.
